Many mothers are drained and feel isolated. They hunger for help in good parenting and need rock-solid and time-tested wisdom from God’s word to strengthen their parenting. The truth is that all people are made for community, and Moms need each other. They need their TRIBE! This group or ministry for mothers at Waters Edge is called the “Mama Tribe.”

At Waters Edge, we help people join a faith family to encounter God and discover the fullness of life they were made for. Mama Tribe is a community of support and a family that cares. You will encounter God in love within the relationships you form. You will encounter God in the vulnerability of other mothers dealing with the same struggles. You will discover more fullness as you grow into your calling to be a wise and godly mother.

Mama Tribe is led by Raleigh Avery and several leaders over the small groups where you will find your own closer-knit community.

They host one main event each Wednesday during the school year from 10 AM to 12 PM. Drop your kids off for free childcare and then gather over coffee with other ladies to listen to a simple message about motherhood from the Bible. Afterward, you can go deeper into the message with your small group and share your story. Mama Tribe also plans other events to keep everyone connected; examples include trips to the park or “Mom’s night out.”
