  • How can I make a donation?

    Donors can give online through the website or by going to https://watersedgesc.churchcenter.com/giving. You can also text a dollar amount to 84321, give in person, or by mail checks to 101 Ball Park Road, Lexington, SC 29072.

  • Is my donation tax-deductible?

    Waters Edge Church is a 501(c)(3) organization. Donations qualify for a tax deduction. 

  • Can I designate my gift to a specific program or project?

    Currently, donations go into a general fund and then the money is allocated by church leadership to the area of need.

  • Will I receive a receipt for my donation?

    Donors who provide an email or mailing address will receive confirmation of their contribution at the beginning of the year for tax purposes. Donors can also request a contribution letter throughout the year.

  • What impact will my donation have?

    Waters Edge Church uses contributions for ministries, and programs to teach the gospel to others. Benevolence is a significant aspect of Waters Edge Church’s outreach efforts, typically aimed at providing assistance and support to individuals and families facing financial hardship, crises, or unexpected challenges. Here are some common ways Waters Edge uses benevolence: financial assistance, emergency relief, medical and healthcare support, counseling and emotional support, housing and homelessness prevention, spiritual care, and encouragement.


  • Can I set up recurring donations?

    Yes! By going to https://watersedgesc.churchcenter.com/giving donors can choose how frequently they want to donate and the contributions will be taken out automatically.

  • Can I donate non-cash items or assets?

    Of course! Donors who donate non-cash items will receive a letter from the church office to provide to the IRS for tax purposes.
