We are a Jesus-loving, Bible-believing, Spirit-filled church. In summary, that means that we trust and follow God’s infallible word (the Bible), and we adhere to the universal teachings of historic Christianity concerning Jesus. We are "Spirit-filled" because we believe the church owes the world a supernatural encounter with God!

Our Ministries

Our ministries serve as functions within the church to extend our mission to help people encounter God by his Spirit and become like Christ to advance his kingdom. Everyone can serve somewhere, so feel free to explore the variety of ministries at Waters Edge to explore where you can serve.
Discipleship

Our church meets in smaller cell groups throughout the week in order to encounter God together in closer community. The goal of these groups is to help people grow to become like Christ in order to advance his kingdom. DISCIPLESHIP

Learn the Jesus Skills

Jesus came to earth to bring heaven with him, to inaugurate the kingdom of God! In his ministry, he also multiplied himself by training followers to operate in his same supernatural ministry. Our discipleship initiative sustains an atmosphere for people to encounter God by his Spirit in order to activate and train them in the seven “Jesus skills:” 1) evangelism; 2) Spirit baptism; 3) hearing God’s voice and prophecy; 4) deliverance; 5) righteousness and discipline; 6) healing; 7) signs and wonders. Activating these seven skills equip people to continue the ministry of Christ to advance the kingdom of God. Start any time by joining us on Thursday nights. Disciples graduate after one year in the program. This discipleship program includes a kid’s ministry because kids can be activated also in all of the Jesus skills. We offer discipleship classes for 5k-5th grades. Childcare is available for kids younger than that.
